This is the Automatic fisherman base with our new purple 30" medium action rod, the rod is solid fiberglass, it has 5 big stainless-steel guides, with a purple wrap on the guides and reel seat, with a cork handle. The rod is great for bigger fish because the rod is stiff enough to pull the hook out of the minnow on the hookset and still light enough to get a fight out of the fish too. The ice stopper is included in this kit, it eliminates the line from freezing in the ice to -50 degrees. Worth its weight in gold in my opinion in cold weather. THE 7.5 " TRIGGER PIN CAN BE ADJUSTED FOR SENSITIVITY. THE 30" medium rod is a very universal rod for all species of fish using the bobber lets you give the fish up to 2 feet of pure slack allowing the fish to take the bait better in their mouth so you can get a more consistent hookset. allowing you to catch more fish.
